Quick answers about searching, saving homes, alerts and your account.

Searching

How current are the listings?

Homes for sale and rent update every few minutes from the MLS® System (PropTx). A home that sells or comes off the market disappears from search shortly after.

Why do I need an account for sold prices?

Sold and leased prices come from the MLS® System under a Virtual Office Website (VOW) agreement. The rules require a free account with a confirmed email and agreeing to the terms of use every 90 days.

Why at most 100 homes per search?

The MLS® rules limit how many listings a search may show at once. Narrow the search, zoom in on the map or draw an area to see each home.

Can I search in my own words?

Yes. On the home page or at Search in your own words, describe the home (“3 bedroom house near a subway in North York under $1.5M”) and Salehian.com turns it into filters. Only your sentence is used; no listing data is sent anywhere.

Saving and alerts

How do I save a home?

Open a listing and press Save. Saved homes appear in your account, where you can share them as a shortlist with family.

How do email alerts work?

Search the way you like, then choose Save this search. You’ll get new listings and price drops by email right away or once a day. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

What is “Recently viewed & hidden”?

Salehian.com remembers the homes you open on this device and lets you hide homes you’re not interested in. It stays in your browser only.

Can I watch one home?

Yes. Save it, then switch on Watch in your watchlist: you’ll get an email when its price or status changes.

Your account

How do I delete my account?

Open your account page and choose Delete account. Your saved homes, searches and history are deleted with it.

Who sees my information?

Only Salehian.com and the brokerage. See the privacy page for the details, including what the MLS® rules require us to keep.
